Das Wesen der Erfindung besteht in einem Stirnreifen, an welchem aus Stahlblech od. dgl. hergestellte federnde   Bänder,   den Kopf mit Zwischenraum überdeckend, derart angeordnet sind, dass sie seitlich, den Stirnreifen umschliessend, niedergeklappt werden können. Der Stirnreifen trägt vorzugsweise zwei oder mehr sich kreuzende Gurten, vermittels welcher der Reifen auf dem Schädel aufsitzt.

   Der Kopfschutz gemäss dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiele besteht aus einem Reifen   Blo   welcher der Kopfform im wesentlichen angepasst ist. An diesem   Stirnreifen Bj   sind aus federndem Stahlblech hergestellte Bänder   B2   bis   B6   um in der Längsachse   a-b   (Fig. 2) an dem Stirnreifen   B,   vorgesehene Bolzen drehbar angeordnet. 



   Durch diese drehbare Anordnung können die Bänder auf-und niedergeklappt werden, so dass ausser Gebrauch, wie Fig. 2 und 3 zeigen, die Bänder   B2   und   B4   auf der einen, die Bänder B3, B5, B6 auf der andern Seite des Stirnreifens B1 zu liegen kommen. 



   Zum Gebrauche des Kopfschutzes werden die Bänder aufgeklappt und vermittels der am Stirnreifen B befestigten Ketten K (Fig. 3). welche an ihrem Ende die Seitenkante des Bandes 4 übergreifende

   The head protection according to the illustrated embodiment consists of a tire Blo which is essentially adapted to the shape of the head. On this front tire Bj, bands B2 to B6 made of resilient sheet steel are rotatably arranged around bolts provided on the front tire B in the longitudinal axis a-b (FIG. 2).



   This rotatable arrangement allows the belts to be folded up and down so that when not in use, as shown in FIGS come lying down.
