Bei Apparaten zum glasweise. n Ausschenken von kohlensaurem Wasser, in welchem ein mit düse versehener Generator vorhanden ist, ist es wichtig, dass eine Entlüftung des Generators stattfindet.
Man hat zu diesem Zweck bereits das mit dem Generator verbundene Entlüftungsventil derait mit dem zum Ablassen des kohlensauren Wasbers dienenden Zapfventil verbunden, dass bei jeder Entnahme

Kohlensäure in erheblichen Mengen entweicht, was wegen des hohen Preises der Kohlensäure unerwünscht ist und erhebliche Verluste verursacht.
Dieser Übelstand wird in folgender Weise beseitigt : Das Entlüftungsventil xi : d mit dem Zapfventil derart in Verbindung gebracht, dass es nur beim Öffnen und Schliessen des Zapfventils kurze Zeit geöffnet wird. Diese kurze Öffnungszeit genügt wegen der geringeren Frischwassermenge, welche nach jeder Entnahme von kohlensaurem Wasser dem Generator zufliesst, um die aus dem Frischwasser verdrängte Luft entweichen zu lassen ; jedoch wird Kohlensäure während der kurzen Ötfnungsdauer nur in èehr geringen Mengen entweichen können.
In Fig. 1 der Zeichnung ist eine Ansicht der ganzen Einrichtung, in Fig. 2 ein Schnitt durch das Zapf-und Entlüftungsventil dargestellt.
