Description

  Druckknopf.

Fig. 4 die Matrize von unten gesehen.

  Push button.

The invention relates to snap fasteners, which consist of a head part with a neck and a die with a non-circular inlet opening, the edges of which in the closed position reach under the head as a result of the usually occurring lateral pull in the fabric parts to be connected. This type of button does not prevent it from jumping open if there is currently no lateral pull and the head is centered on the inlet opening.

The invention consists in that a spring is arranged below the entry opening of the die, which has two opposing bulges, which narrows the opening at the points between the bulges and also ensures the engagement between the head and the die in the transverse direction.

In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown, u. Between. Fig. 1 shows two pieces of fabric connected by the push button, Fig. 2 shows a section along the line 2-2 of Fig. 1, Fig. 3 in dotted lines shows the arrangement of a number of such closures. 4 the die seen from below. FIG. 5 is a section along line 5-5 of FIG. 4.

A round head part 6 has a flange 7 at the base, which is bent up so that its edge lies in a plane with the neck of the head. The die consists of a housing 8, which is provided with an opening 9 for receiving the head and which contains a U-shaped clamping spring 10 held by the turned-up edge of the housing, the parallel legs of which engage under the head when it is pressed into the opening 9 .

The opening 9 receiving the head 6 has two opposite bulges with a smaller radius of curvature than the head, into which the head enters during the usually occurring lateral pull in the fabric parts to be connected, the legs of the spring not forming an obstacle. The lock is then locked as long as the side pull continues.

The legs of the spring 10 are spaced apart such that their inner edges run under the corner points 11 which occur at the attachment points of the bulges. As a result, the inlet opening is narrowed by the spring at the points between the bulges, so that the head is prevented from exiting the die even when the lateral tension in the fabric parts subsides and it comes to stand centered under the opening.

Intentional loosening of the fastener is brought about by tilting the parts more strongly while eliminating any lateral pull in the fabric parts.
