   In Fig. 2 ist eine Heizanordnung mit einem derartigen Gehäuse dargestellt. 1 ist eine Fassung aus Metall, 2 das Gehäuse aus Material mit hoher zerstreuender Rückwerfung, 3 der Heizkörper und   4   das zu sengende Garn. 



   Wird nun ein Gehäuse mit spiegelnder Innenfläche verwendet, so werden die'Wärmestrahlen nach dem Spiegelgesetz zurückgeworfen. Soll durch ein solches Gehäuse das zu bestrahlende Garn möglichst von allen Seiten gleichviel Wärme erhalten, so muss man ein Gehäuse mit elliptischem Querschnitt wählen, wie es in Fig. 3 dargestellt ist. Hier ist 2 das Gehäuse mit spiegelnder Innenfläche, 3 der Heizkörper und 4 das zu sengende Gas. Wird nach bekannten Gesetzen der Heizkörper in dem einen Brennpunkt der Ellipse angeordnet und das zu sengende Garn in dem anderen Brennpunkt durch das Gehäuse hindurchgeführt, so ist die Bedingung, dass es gleichmässig gesengt wird, erfüllt. 



   PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Sengvorriehtung für elektrisch beheizte Garnsengmaschinen mit stabförmigem Heizkörper, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der stabförmige Heizkörper und das Garn von einem gemeinsamen Gehäuse umschlossen sind, dessen Innenwandung so gestaltet ist (z. B. kreis-oder ellipsenförmig), dass es die vom Heizkörper ausgehenden Wärmestrahlen auf das Garn zurückwirft.
