also as vertical partitions between the carburetor casing and the carburetor housing. If such an arrangement were not made, it would be when the valve is moved upwards. For the air, a bypass can be created from the duct to the outlet of the cylinder, so that it would not only pass through the straight duct, but also between the carburetor housing and the carburetor casing and in this way no mixing of the fuel with the fuel flowing through this bypass Air could take place.
These ribs 44 prevent the air from flowing by and thus serve to prevent the passage between the inner and outer housing. without withdrawing to the position of the air valve.
A sealing washer 45 is pressed against a loose ring 46 by means of a ring 47 screwed into the bore of the lower end of the carburetor housing M in order to prevent the escape of fuel at the top of the outside of the nozzle 82 and thus a change in that Prevent mixing ratio.
The carburetor works as follows:
The fuel liquid enters the float vessel through the inlet 12 and reaches the nozzle 22 until it reaches the level indicated by the line a, a in FIG. This level is reached by the swimmer. Before starting the machine, see the valve 38 in its lowest
Position, u. between it rests on the shoulder 42 (FIG. 7) of the carburetor housing j, so that the derangular air gap is completely closed off to a very narrow gap below the shoulder 42. After starting up the machine, the increasing vacuum in the inlet creates a corresponding one

until he reaches his equilibrium position.
The channel 36 opens into the inlet at a location between the fuel nozzle and the throttle, and not between the throttle valve and the engine. If it were to open into the inlet at the latter point, the vacuum that is created when the machine is suddenly throttled would be. Increase the vacuum above the air valve and thus influence the operation of the machine. Due to the arrangement of the channel according to the drawing, the valve is always exposed to a vacuum which is proportional to the draft in the carburator.
The movement of the air valve in the vertical direction opens the triangular air duct and at the same time lifts the fuel valve 40 so that the opening formed by the groove 41 becomes larger. The
The fuel supply is thus increased in relation to the air supply. Both are dependent on the suction power! in the carburator and therefore on the speed of the machine. The fact that the groove 41 in the
If the fuel valve 40 is given the correct size in relation to its length in the transverse line, the correct mixture of gas and air will always be obtained.

When the throttle is open, changes. do not adjust the position of the air valve and fuel valve until the engine has reached normal speed and has reduced the pressure in the inlet so that the slide and fuel valve are raised. The position of valve 38 and fuel valve 40 will change with the strength of the air flow.
