Ansicht.
Fig. 2 zeigt einen Mittelschnitt nach Fig. 1.
Fig. 6 endlich stellt den Schlüssel dar.
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Door lock with sliding bolt.
After the construction of the parent patent, the. Tumblers and the obstruction of the actuation of the Sohlüsselbartes by engaging the lock housing from the outside
EMI1.1
This embodiment is much improved and simplified in its effect in the present construction.
The adjustment of the tumblers as well as the stop for limiting the key movement, mg is brought about by a common organ that runs on the shaft of the with the for
Displacement of the bolt serving button is arranged, this button, according to the purpose, is rotatably mounted.
In the drawing, the lock is shown in one embodiment.
Fig. 1 shows the open lock from the key insertion side with the cover plate lifted in
View.
FIG. 2 shows a central section according to FIG. 1.
3 shows the lock with the stop pivoted into the path of movement of the key.
Fig. 4 is a section through the nut and
Fig. 5 shows the organ used to adjust the tumbler.
Fig. 6 finally represents the key.
The button 25 sits on a shaft 26 which passes through the bolt 1 and the guide block 11 and at its end carries an eccentrically seated collar 27 which engages in the corresponding cutouts of the tumblers. On the outer edge of the collar 27, it carries an arm 28, which on the one hand influences the last Z position in its path, but mainly serves to step into the path of the key bit as a stop (Figs. 1, 2, 3 and 5 ).
If the element 27 used to adjust the tumblers and the arm 28 are in the in
Fig. 1 with full lines drawn position, wherein the straight long outer edge of the arm 28 coincides with the longitudinal edges of the holding cutouts, the bolt can probably be brought into the locking position by hand. Since they are not hindered by the eccentric b'md 27, the tumblers fall via the locking pin 14. However, the bolt cannot be moved back by hand; to do this, the tumblers would have to be lifted with the key and the bolt moved in a known manner by means of the nut 19.
If the collar 27 and arm 28 are in the dot-dashed position in FIG. 1, the bolt is in the open position while the arm 28 is pivoted downward and in this way is in the path of the key bit, the eccentric 27 is the Z lpositions raised and the bolt 1 can be moved back and forth without any problem, without a
Blocking occurs. If the bolt with all parts is in the open position shown in FIG. 1, the arm 28 is grasped and rotated by the key bit when locking. In doing so, it moves into the position shown in full lines, the eccentric 27 releasing the tumblers, these lowering and thus being able to fall in via the spear pin 14.
However, if the bolt 1 in the locked position is to be secured from the inside, the arm 28 is rotated into the path of the key bit by means of the button 25 and the shaft 26. The arm 28 here (FIG. 3) lies with its narrow edge in the path of the beard in such a way that it forms a stop which prevents further movement and thus the opening of the lock from the outside.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
All these movements of the collar 27 and arm 28 can be brought about by the button sitting on the bolt or by rotating it in one direction or the other.
The Nut. ?, which is used to move the locking piece or the plate 9, is formed in the present construction to a not very strong plate, whereby it is secured by resilient counterpins as in the parent patent.
A special advantage of the pre-documented arrangement over that of the parent patent, which also makes the difference between the two constructions noticeable, must be pointed out.
For example, according to the design of the master patent, the apartment door was opened from the outside and, after entering the apartment and closing the door, the bolt was manually brought into the locked position. During this movement, however, the lever 15 was also taken along again and now lies with its arm located in the lock in the path of the key bit, so that it is not possible for a subsequent person to unlock the lock. For this reason, the lever 15 must be pivoted out of the blocked position after each entry into the apartment or after the bolt has been pushed forward.
This drawback is avoided in the present construction. As long as the arm 28 has not been pivoted by hand by means of the button 25 after the bolt has been pushed into the position according to FIG. 3, the key can be used to open it from the outside without any problems. Independently or forced by the tumblers or other circumstances, the arm 28 never assumes a position that would present an obstacle to the key.
