Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

  Einrichtung an Spannungsschnellreglern.

  Installation on high-speed voltage regulators.

   The invention relates to a further embodiment of the device according to the patent
No. 92240, which consists in the fact that when the protective relay on the high-speed regulator responds, this relay actuates a contact which actuates the generator's oil switch and switches off the machine.

    If the circuit claimed according to FIG. 2 of the main patent is used, the invention, which acts as overcurrent protection with an independent time constant that can be set as desired, has the essential advantage that all relays otherwise required for this protection are omitted. But even with the circuit according to the main patent or with similar circuits, one saves at least one independent overcurrent time relay. The invention has the further advantage that it creates, for the first time, a three-phase overcurrent relay with a single contact pair that works well mechanically.

  An exemplary embodiment is shown in the drawing to explain the concept of the invention. a are the power lines, b the generator with the exciter c and the voltage regulator d connected to it in a known manner. The network magnet g of the controller is connected to the protective relay h in the manner described in the main patent. The bracket m, which lifts the magnetic core when the protective relay responds, is under the action of three coils, which via the transformers? are excited by the generator current. It is of course just as possible to arrange the transformers in only one or two phases. The armature of the protective relay h is after overcoming the damping
