Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet eine weitere Ausbildung der durch Anspruch 1 des Patents Nr. 93443 geschützten Hubvorrichtung für Stangen (Brett) fallhämmer, gemäss welcher die Hubwalzen zugleich das Festhalten des Bärs in gehobener Stellung besorgen. Nach dem Hauptpatent erhalten die Hubwalzen durch Vermittlung einer oder zweier ausrückbarer Kupplungen oder ausschaltbarer Motoren nur während des Bärhubes Antrieb, während sie nach Erreichung der Bärhöchstlage an der Rüekdrehung gehindert werden. Gemäss der Erfindung können statt der Kupplung bzw. statt der Kupplungen auch Voll-und Leerscheiben verwendet werden, u. zw. bei kleinen Hämmern ein Paar, während bei grossen Hämmern unter Umständen zwei oder mehr Paare zweckmässig sein werden.
