Saiteninstrument.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Anordnung zur Verbesserung der Tonstärke und des Klanges bei Saiteninstrumenten, welche sich hauptsächlich dadurch kennzeichnet, dass ein mit Saiten versehenes Organ in der Nähe der tongebenden Elemente des Instruments angeordnet und derart abgestimmt wird, dass die Saiten, wenn die tongebenden Elemente betätigt werden, mitklingen, und die Tonstärke sowie die Klangfülle des Instrumentes steigern. Ein solches Organ kann auf, bzw. in den meisten Instrumenten angeordnet werden und hat sich besonders für Saiteninstrumente und für Orgeln sehr brauchbar erwiesen.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung in der Anwendung bei einer Gitarre ist in der beigelegten Zeichnung dargestellt, in welcher Fig. 1 die Anordnung von oben gesehen und Fig. 2 die Anordnung in einer Gitarre hineingeschoben und durchschnitten zeigt.
Hier ist 1 das Organ, das zur Verstärkung der Tonstärke und Klangfülle des Instruments dient.
2 sind die auf demselben gespannten Saiten und 3 sind die Stimmschrauben derselben. 4 sind Schallstifte, welche die Verbindung zwischen dem eingesetzten Organ und der Vorderseite 5 der Gitarre vermitteln.
Die Gitarrensaiten sind mit 6 bezeichnet.
Das wegnehmbare Organ wird vorzugsweise von der Rückseite des Instruments aus eingesetzt und entfernt. Die Rückseite der Gitarre ist zu diesem Zweck mit Schrauben, Scharnieren od. dgl. versehen. Zum Festhalten des eingesetzten Saitenbrettes können im Innern des Instruments Rippen, Stützwinkel od. dgl. angeordnet werden, deren Form, Grösse und Lage je nach der Form und Grösse des betreffenden Instruments, in welches das Organ eingesetzt werden soll, variieren.
Das eingesetzte Brett hat im vorliegenden Falle 12 Saiten. Diese sind nach der chromatischen Skala gestimmt. Wenn jetzt die Instrumentensaiten angeschlagen werden, so werden die Saiten am eingesetzten Brett mitklingen, und dadurch in" bedeutendem Grade die Tonstärke und Klangfülle des Instruments steigern.
Zweckmässig wird das eingesetzte Organ mit einer federbeeinflussten Dämpferanordnung für die Saiten von an und für sich bekannter Bauart versehen, die z. B. von aussen durch einen oder mehrere Knöpfe od. dgl. bedient werden kann.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Saiteninstrument, mit im Inneren angeordneten Resonnanzsaiten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass diese Resonnanzsaiten (2) auf einem, aus dem Instrument leicht ausnehmbaren Brette (1) angeordnet ist.
