Description

Circuit for electrical wiring networks.
In the case of small power stations or transformer stations, there is a risk that the built-in oil switches will not be able to cope with the short-circuit power as soon as they are connected in parallel to a larger power station.
One has already tried to avoid the need to remove the existing oil switches and replace them with new ones when connecting to a larger power plant. The devices previously known for this purpose require the installation of a special reactance coil, which is short-circuited in normal operation and is only switched on when an overcurrent occurs by opening an oil switch or in some other way in the line.
The invention makes it unnecessary to switch on such a reactance coil in line networks that are connected to the power plant via several transformers connected in parallel. It consists in the fact that the short-circuit line to be disconnected is distributed over several oil switches and, for this purpose, in the event of a short circuit, a sufficient number of transformers are automatically disconnected in such a way that the existing oil switches cannot be endangered, but at least one transformer is activated remains switched on in any case.
After the short-circuit has been eliminated, normal operation is restored either automatically or manually by switching on the transformers that were switched off during the short-circuit.
