Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine elektrische Taschenlampe und besteht in der besonderen Ausgestaltung der Schaltvorrichtung. Bisher hat man den Schaltkörper an dem Gehäuse gelagert, während derselbe der Erfindung gemäss keine feste Lagerung erhält, sondern einfach durch die Kontaktfeder an den Rand eines Längsschlitzes des Gehäuses gedruckt wird, in welchem er von aussen hin und her geschoben werden kann. wobei die Kontaktfeder den Lampenstrom öffnet oder schliess.
