  MaschinezumFormendesFrseuteilesdesOberiederrandesvonSchuhwerk.

Machine for forming the milling part of the upper edge of footwear.

The present invention relates to a further embodiment of the machine for shaping the heel part of the upper leather edge of footwear according to patent no. 89918.

An important feature of the invention is that the inner mold is supported during the molding process by an abutment that can be moved into an effective and an inoperative position. The movement of this abutment @ into the effective position is brought about by pressing down the starter lever of the machine.

Another feature of the invention is that. that the inner compression mold interacts with a gauge which reveals the width of the upper leather edge protruding above the compression mold and the central position of the upper leather on the compression mold. This teaching is brought into its effective and ineffective position by the movement of the wearer of the slide valve.

The subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the drawing, for example. Fig. 1 is a side elevational view of the machine, Fig. 2 is a plan view in the direction of arrow f of Fig. 1, Fig. 3

Slide it over the bottom of the groin and press it against the latter.

With the machines known up to now it was difficult to apply the upper lower exactly to the inner mold because the worker had no point of reference. the correct position of the upper leather
 EMI1.2

The novel gauge is arranged in such a way that it indicates both the width of the protruding upper leather edge and the central position of the heel seam.

The teaching consists of a finger 5 which is attached to a support member 6. The link 6 is located on one. Arm 8 extending to the center of the inner die 2J. A screw 10 is screwed into the link 6 and comes into contact with the heel seat of the inner die. By adjusting this screw, the distance between the fingers 5 and the inner mold can be changed. The finger above the center line of the mold: 26. 5 also indicates the middle position of the heel close @,
