Armierte Schaltkontakte.
EMI1.1
Fig. 2, erzielt.

Armored switch contacts.
EMI1.1
a distortion of the contact blade blades, which reduces the contact pressure, is to be prevented by riveted and abutting tension springs, the coefficient of thermal expansion of which is different from that of the contact blade blades themselves.
With these switching contacts, however, the specified effect is not achieved
EMI1.2
In order to achieve a good switching contact with electrical switching devices without exactly matching and without looping in, which at the same time limits the contact heating at the current transfer points, according to the invention the elastic contact sheath sheets a are equipped with an inelastic cover sleeve c, Fig. 3, o. The like with an inelastic wire wrapping d, Fig. 4. of cylindrical shape.
The arrangement is like this
EMI1.3
Bending of the elastic contact blade sheets a slide along transversely to the driving direction of the knife b. whereby an intimate, fourfold linear contact pressure, FIG. 3, or an intimate contact surface pressure, FIG. 4, with a slightly curved knife profile, is produced in the case of flat contact surfaces.
The curvature of the knife profile is kept this way. that when the knife is heated, the area of the pressure or application of the contact blade leaves grows from the contact tangent and this case can be seen in full in FIG. The deflection of the contact blade blades and the curvature of the profile of the contact blade or the like is shown exaggerated in FIGS. 3 and 4.
In the first case, an effect analogous to the usual point or. Line contacts. Fig. I, but in the second case as with the usual surface contacts. Fig. 2, achieved. After the line or surface pressure of the armored switching contacts increases as the temperature increases, the Joule effect is limited due to the effect of the sleeve or the like or the wire wrapping, so that in this respect the risk of deformation or burns in these contacts is eliminated becomes. There is no fixed relationship between the sleeve c or the like or the wire wrapping d and the contact blade blades a, as in the case of the switching contacts according to FIG. 6.
The inelastic sleeve c or the wire wraps of the armored switch contacts can be produced in all shapes that allow the ends of the contact blade sheets to slide on the inclined planes 1,,. 3, -1 or, if the contact sheath blades are attached to the side, only allow them on the inclined planes 1 and 2 of the sleeve or wire wrapping when driving in the contact blade. The contact blades and elastic contact blade blades must work together in such a way that the latter can bend transversely to the driving direction of the contact blades.
For high currents, the armored switch contacts can be assembled into contact groups. The switching contacts are not only suitable for straight knife guidance. but with an appropriate construction of the switching devices also for contact blades with rotary movement.
In FIG. 5, the armored switching contact is designed as part of a branch terminal, where e represents a busbar and / the branch terminal with a line connection that can be moved thereon.
