Metal boiler.
It is known that metallic cooking vessels, in particular those made of semi-precious metals such as aluminum, copper, nickel and the like. The like., particularly popular, not only because of their durability or resistance to oxidation and chemical effects of the liquids, food, etc. to be heated or the effects of flames and heating gas, but also in particular because of their beautiful appearance and easy cleaning.
The invention relates to an improvement in such metallic cooking vessels with an essentially bright surface. It consists in that only those surface parts of the vessels that are directly exposed to the radiation of the heat source are provided with a coating, which has a higher absorption capacity for heat rays than the vessel metal. In this way, the property of higher absorption ability for thermal rays is transferred to the vessel and thus a high thermal efficiency is obtained. Fireproof paints are used as the material for such coatings. Lacquers, metal oxides, enamel-like substances, etc.

properties, depends on the ability of the material in question to absorb radiant heat.
The subject of the invention is therefore in contrast to the coatings previously used on metal cooking vessels, which only serve the purpose of improving the appearance and protection against chemical effects of both the heated contents and the flames, but not the improved heat transfer to the vessel.
In the drawing, a cooking vessel a is illustrated which, according to the invention, is provided on its bottom surface exposed to the heat rays of the heat source with a coating b with a higher absorption capacity for heat rays than the vessel itself. Such a cooking vessel therefore has the hitherto common advantage over the very significant advantage that its good external appearance and the ease of keeping it clean are essentially unchanged
