    Acetylenbrenner.   



   Vorliegender Brenner ist derart eingerichtet, dass zu dem Gas unmittelbar vor dessen Verbrennung Luft zutritt, wodurch, wie bei den bekannten Bunsenbrenner, ein Gasluftgemisch zur Verbrennung gelangt. 



   Bei dem in der Zeichnung   theils   in der Ansicht und theils im Schnitt als Beispiel dargestellten Schmottorlingsbrenner sind an dem Kopfe 2 zwei durchbohrte Arme 3 befestigt, an deren Ende der zweckmässig aus feuerfestem Material, wie   Speckstein   und dergl. bestehende Brennerkopf 6 mittels einer Überwurfmutter 4 derart befestigt ist, dass er nicht hervorragt. 



   Die Überwurfmutter ist mit seitlichen   Luftzuführul1gscanälen   9 versehen, welche oberhalb des Brennerkopfes in die centrale Bohrung der Mutter münden, die eine zur Flamme hin vollständig offene Mischkammer 5 bildet Das durch die feine Bohrung 7 austretende Gas saugt durch die Canäle 9 Luft an, welche im Vereine mit dem Gas zur Flamme strömt. 



   Dadurch, dass die Kammer 5 zur Flamme hin offen ist und Wirbelbildungen daher nicht auftreten können, ferner, weil die Canäle seitlich angeordnet und infolge der durch Wirbelung nicht beeinflussen Saugkraft des Gases klein gehalten werden können, wird ein Zurückschlagen der Flamme vermieden.
