Process for the production of flat incandescent bodies.
For gas incandescent lamps with low gas consumption, small, flat incandescent bodies of round or square shape are required. It makes sense to cut them out of a large, flat piece of glow net. The production of such a device is very difficult, however, because it is not easily possible to give it a sufficient hold during ashing, hardening and painting.
According to the invention, a cylindrical or conical incandescent body is first produced, as is the case for the conventional incandescent light. From the completely finished, painted incandescent body, the collar required for the previous work is now removed, the cylindrical or conical part is cut lengthwise and the incandescent body obtained in this way is applied using heat, e.g. B. by placing it on a hot plate or by immersion in appropriately preheated liquids, leveled. Placing it on an approximately go0 hot plate causes the incandescent body to level by itself. Leveling with preheated liquids takes place in such a way that the incandescent body z. B. lying on a sieve in the preheated liquid (e.g.
B, water) is immersed, whereby the incandescent body lies flat by itself. The small incandescent bodies (glow platelets) are finally punched out of the now flat pieces.
The initially produced incandescent body advantageously has a cylindrical or conical part of much greater length than the usual shapes. The through that
