Elbow with branch in pipelines for pneumatic conveying systems.
The present subject matter of the invention relates to pneumatic conveying systems for coke, ash and the like. Like. The solid mass particles, which are carried away by the conveying air, damage the conveying line mainly at the points where the conveying flow experiences a change in direction. As is known, the bends installed at these points are protected from wear by a baffle plate, which reflects the mass particles in the direction of the outgoing pipe string. Often a branch is connected to such a bend. In this case it is not possible to use a baffle plate to reflect the mass particles hitting it in the direction of the branching pipe, because the baffle plate would have to be attached exactly where the branch is (cf.
Drawing), if the mass particles reflected by the baffle plate should not also hit unprotected pipe walls. According to the invention, two spatially separated baffle plates should therefore be in such branch pieces in the
Be arranged in such a way that the first plate reflects the mass particles on the second and the second reflects the same in the direction of the outgoing pipe string.
In the figure, such a device is shown, it shows a longitudinal section

The baffle plate 2 is clamped by means of a screw 5 by means of a ring 4, which is held somewhat wider than the tube. The baffle plate is inserted into a groove and sealed on one side against the junction with a rubber thread.
The second
Impact plate 3 is also located in a circumferential groove and is also through
