Fig. 8 gibt die hier besprochene Schaltung wieder.

Switching device for three-phase ammeters.
Several methods are known for measuring three-phase current by means of a combination of two measuring systems, which are dealt with in a number of patents.
The oldest of these methods is shown in D. R. P. No. ss3350.
If we use the notations dfs diagram (Fig. 1), in which, 4, -ss, C 'are the instantaneous values of the currents in the three-phase lines,? Ss? the instantaneous values of the voltage between them mean, this method is presented as a use of the equation: x B + (-ss) A = k, where k is the instantaneous value of the work. This can be formulated in words like this: Two current vectors of 120 phase difference are combined with two voltage vectors that lie between the two current vectors according to the phase angle, u. between each current vector with a voltage vector 300 away. The sum of the two products is a measure of the work.
This formulation

voltages, which have the phase relations just mentioned, can be used to measure three-phase energy. D.R.P. No. 107110 represents a further application of this general theorem. As current vectors which have 120 phase shifts from one another, if we reinterpret Equation 9 of this patent specification according to the designations of our Fig. 1, B-C and C-A are used, where? -? and ss-? which mean 30 voltage vectors removed from the current vectors and located between them.
The equation is:

Naturally, currents and voltages can be interchanged in all formulas related to three-phase currents, i.e. also in the formulation of the law just mentioned.

stand, it can easily be shown in general that the voltage vectors to be combined with them must be in phase with the current vectors. Use is made of this in D. R. P. No. 84648; the application of this principle to Ferraris meters brings D. R. P.
No. 100748. The mathematical expression of this law would be:

by 60 remaining voltage vector. One application of this method lies in the formula:
EMI2.2
The corresponding circuit for a motor counter is given in FIG.
Applied to a Ferraris meter, the principle would be as follows: Two main stream vectors spaced 1500 apart are to be used; the front one in the direction of rotation is to be combined with a secondary flow vector which leads by 30, the rear main flow vector is to be combined with a secondary flow vector which is in phase with the front main flow vector. This arrangement is z.
B. achieved if you let the current combination A + B act on a conductive, rotatably arranged body together, with a shunt magnet, which is connected to the lines B and A and has a phase shift of 600, if you also on a second, with the first on a common axis seated conductive body, respectively. on the same body at a different point allows the currents B and C to interact in the combination C-B with a shunt magneton, which is connected to B and - C and has a phase shift of 300. Fig. 8 reproduces the circuit discussed here. Of course, other voltages can also be used to excite the shunt magnets when the appropriate phase shifts are used.
Windings and iron dimensions must be selected so that the measurement result is proportional to the energy.
