  Einrichtung zum Regeln der Spannung von   Ventilgleichrichtern.   



   Die Erfindung betrifft einen Spannungsregler für   Venti) gleichrichter,   insbesondere   Quecksilberdampfgleichrichter,   mit dem die Gleichstromspannung dadurch verändert wird, dass die dem Gleichrichter zugeführte Wechselspannung geregelt wird. Die bekannten Einrichtungen bedienen sich hierfür der Induktionsregler, der Stufentransformatoren, der Widerstände oder der Drosselspulen als Regelungselemente im Wechselstromkreis. 



  Induktionsregler und Stufentransformatoren sind sehr teuere Apparate. Die Widerstandsregelung verschlechtert den Wirkungsgrad, und die Regelung mit Hilfe von Drosselspulen verschlechtert die Phasenverschiebung des Gleichrichters, zumal stets sehr grosse Drosselspulen nötig werden. 



   Diese Übelstände sollen   erfindungsgemäss   vermieden werden dadurch, dass als Regelungselement die Kombination einer Drosselspule mit einem parallel geschalteten Widerstand verwendet wird. Die Spannungsregelung erfolgt dann lediglich durch Verändern des parallel geschalteten Widerstandes durch Abschalten oder Kurzschliessen. 



   Die Figur zeigt die neue Regelungsanordnung für einen mehrphasigen Gleichrichter 1, der aus dem Transformator 2 gespeist wird.   Erfindungsgemäss   sind den Anoden des Gleichrichters drei Drosselspulen 3, 4, 5 vorgeschaltet, die je mit einem parallel geschalteten Widerstand 6,7, 8 versehen sind. Durch einen Regelkontakt 9, 10, 11 sind beliebige Teile des zugehörigen Widerstandes kurzzuschliessen. Hierdurch verändert sich die durch den vorgeschalteten Regelapparat abgedrosselte Spannung und damit die Klemmenspannung am Gleichrichter. 



   Die neue Regelungsanordnung kann in Verbindung mit den anderen bekannten Regelungsanordnungen verwendet werden, wenn es sich z. B. um die weitere Unterteilung der durch jene Regelungseinrichtung eingestellten groben   Spannungsstufen   handelt. Sie kann aber auch allein für sich verwendet werden, da sie infolge ihrer günstigen Eigenschaften eine Spannungsregelung innerhalb weiter Grenzen ohne zu grosse Verluste und ohne zu starke Verschlechterung des Leistungsfaktors zulässt.

   The invention relates to a voltage regulator for valve rectifiers, in particular mercury vapor rectifiers, with which the direct current voltage is changed by regulating the alternating voltage supplied to the rectifier. The known devices use induction regulators, step transformers, resistors or choke coils as control elements in the alternating current circuit.



  Induction regulators and step transformers are very expensive devices. The resistance regulation worsens the efficiency, and the regulation with the help of choke coils worsens the phase shift of the rectifier, especially since very large choke coils are always necessary.



   According to the invention, these inconveniences are to be avoided in that the control element used is the combination of a choke coil with a resistor connected in parallel. The voltage regulation then takes place only by changing the resistor connected in parallel by switching off or short-circuiting.



   The figure shows the new control arrangement for a polyphase rectifier 1, which is fed from the transformer 2. According to the invention, the anodes of the rectifier are preceded by three choke coils 3, 4, 5, each of which is provided with a resistor 6, 7, 8 connected in parallel. Any parts of the associated resistor can be short-circuited by a control contact 9, 10, 11. This changes the voltage throttled by the upstream control device and thus the terminal voltage at the rectifier.



   The new control arrangement can be used in conjunction with the other known control arrangements when it is e.g. B. is about the further subdivision of the coarse voltage levels set by that control device. However, it can also be used on its own because, due to its favorable properties, it allows voltage regulation within wide limits without excessive losses and without excessive deterioration in the power factor.
