In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in Fig. i auf einen Massstab aufgesteckt im Aufriss und vergrössert dargestellt, Fig. 2 ist ein Kreuzriss und Fig. 3 ein Grundriss von Fig. i.
Auf das Ende eines Massstabes a wird ein seinem Querschnitt entsprechender, rechteckiger Schieber b aufgesteckt, dessen Boden c an einem Ende in einem Winkel von 900 nach unten abgebogen ist und so einen Anlegewinkel bildet. An seiner oberen Seite ist der Schieber b mit einer Erhöhung il versehen, durchbohrt und mit Gewinde versehen, so dass er die Mutter für eine Flügelschraube e bildet, deren Spitze gegen ein an der Innenseite der oberen Schieberwand befestigtes Schutzblech f anstösst. Dieses Schutzblech f ist an seinem äusseren Ende innerhalss des Schiebers b nach unten so abgebogen, dass die Innenfläche des abgebogenen Schutzblechteiles f'genau in dieselbe vertikale Ebene wie die innere, an die Gegenstände anzulegende-Fläche des abwärts gerichteten Schenkels c'fällt.
Auf diese Weise ist es möglich, den Schieber schnell und sicher auf das Ende des Massstabes aufzustecken, ihn festzuklemmen, ohne ihn zu beschädigen und ein verlässliches Messen zu erzielen.
