In sämtlichen Figuren bezeichnen a, a'zwei Neigungsanzeiger.

PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE : i.

Photographic camera with inclination display and registration device.
The invention relates to a photographic camera with an inclination display and registration device and aims to design cameras of this type so that the display of the inclinometer or inclinometers appears sharp on the plate and that no special devices are required on the cassette for this purpose . The purposes of the invention are achieved in that the inclination indicator (or the inclination indicators with the simultaneous arrangement of two inclination indicators for the purpose of displaying the inclination in two mutually perpendicular planes) is assigned an imaging system in such a way that the image of the inclination indicator or the display of the same optically into the Image plane of the camera is thrown.
The inclusion of an optical imaging system between the inclination indicator and the plane of the plate permits such a displacement of the device serving for the inclination display on the plate. from the plate that a focal plane shutter and any known cassette device can be readily used.
This arrangement also has the advantage of providing the correct indication of the inclination indicators on the plate, regardless of the taking lens. to get to the figure.
This makes it possible to move the device out of the beam cone of the taking lens.
The invention is illustrated in the drawings using several exemplary embodiments.
Fig. I to 4 show an arrangement with two inclination indicators for the inclination of the camera in two mutually perpendicular planes, the inclination indicators consist of liquid tube vials, namely Fig. 1 is a side view of the camera with partially broken side wall, the device through the side wall opening of the inclination indicator according to the invention can be seen. Fig. 2 is an elevation with the lower half of the camera omitted. FIG. 3 shows the view of the section along the line A-B in FIG. 1 and FIG. 4 shows the plate with the position of the instrument shown in relation to two mutually perpendicular planes.
FIGS. 5 to 8 show a further embodiment, the two inclination indicators being formed by pendulums and the individual figures corresponding to FIGS. 1 to 4 in sequence.
9 shows the plate image assuming a third form of the inclination indicator, according to which these consist of cuvettes partially filled with mercury.
In all the figures, a, a 'denote two inclination indicators. They are used to display the inclination in two planes b, b 'at right angles to one another. A totally reflective prism is denoted by c, the totally reflective surface of which is used to illuminate the direction indicator a. c 'is a further totally reflective prism which is arranged between the direction indicator a' and the objective d which depicts the direction indicators in the image plane of the camera. e indicates the photographic plate.
It can be seen that with the cooperation of the totally reflecting prisms c, c 'through the imaging lens system d, images of the direction indicators a, a' are created on the plate e,
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
as can be seen in FIGS. 8 and 9, which show the plates, for the various shapes of direction indicators. In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 4, the images of the two direction indicators lie one above the other, in the embodiment according to FIGS. 5 to 7 they lie next to one another. This is related to the different arrangement of the prisms c c '.
Instead of the liquid vial provided in the embodiment according to FIGS. A so-called mechanical spirit level with a ball movable in a circular arc can of course also be used as a direction indicator. The image of a sphere then appears on the plate instead of the image of the bubble of the liquid level. Likewise, instead of the pendulum assumed in the embodiment according to FIGS. 5 to 7 as inclination indicator, an inclination indicator of any other type, for example a cuvette partially filled with mercury, can be used, in the latter case the position of the level surface of the mercury which is on the plate shows the tilt of the camera.
Both the inclination indicator with bubble level or ball and the one with a pendulum or mercury cuvette can be provided with a graduation so that the inclination can be read off directly in angular values from the plate.
PATENT CLAIMS: i. Photographic camera with built-in inclination display and registration device, characterized in that the inclination indicator is assigned an imaging system such that an image of the same is optically projected into the plane of the plate of the camera.
