Facility to improve the air and combat harmful gas accumulation through
Ventilation with the addition of auxiliary gas.
The invention relates to a device for effectively combating locally occurring harmful gas accumulations of all kinds, for improving the air or for warding off gas attacks and consists in the nitrogen gases or impure air with the help of an artificial air stream with simultaneous supply and intimate mixing of a suitable, under higher pressure auxiliary gas to disperse, to dilute, to change or to render harmless.
Depending on the purpose, the auxiliary gas to be selected is a medicinal and invigorating, a disinfecting or neutralizing and invigorating or, for technical or agricultural purposes, a specific one.
The idea of the invention consists in introducing the distribution of the high-tension gas in the air by suitable means into the working area of the wind blades of a fan in such a way that the turbulence allows the high-tension auxiliary gas to be intimately mixed with the ventilation air at atmospheric tension.
The ventilation air can in the usual way, for. B. by open screw fans, in the relevant hospital rooms, blasting rooms, cellars, storage rooms, business premises or by portable ventilation devices to the front or. Place "while the auxiliary gas is enclosed in fixed or portable steel containers and fed to the fan blades as required.
The subject of the invention is shown in the drawing in two exemplary embodiments for open wind blades, while. For the installation of ventilation in closed rooms, screw fans surrounded by housings are usually used. In the example according to FIG. I, the auxiliary gas comes out of the bottle c through an annular space b into the hollow fan axis a and from there immediately in front of the
Wind blades through a shower head, scatter cone or the like. In the effective area of the wind blades e.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the auxiliary gas is introduced through the fan shaft into hollow-pressed fan blades, the end faces of which, finely perforated, release the mixed gas onto the entire working surface of the wind blades.
Another possible embodiment consists in introducing the auxiliary gas directly behind the fan blades into a centrally arranged distribution pipe, leaving out a hollow fan shaft, from which it is forwarded through fine holes,
Gaps or an (adjustable) ring slot also enters the working area of the wind blades. The design options are not limited by these examples.
The ventilation system with auxiliary gases can be used with advantage in some technical and agricultural operations, such as breweries and distilleries, in yeast growing facilities to improve the air, to influence fermentation and promote the development of certain bacteria, in greenhouses to promote growth, and also for sanitary purposes. and medical purposes, to ventilate the dormitories for tuberculosis hospitals and epidemic hospitals, furthermore to combat the cattle epidemic in livestock stalls, in mining for firedamp control, etc.
