Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und deren computer-technische Umsetzung/Verbesserung auf industrie-technischem Gebiet, und zwar eine flexible Klassifikation von Produkten und Produktsystemen, die in einer Baumstruktur mit sechs Ebenen angeordnet und definiert ist. Die Klassifikationen betreffen "Industriegruppe", "Industrieklasse", "Industriesubklasse", "Produktklasse", "Produktgruppe" und "Produktbestandteile". Zwischen den einzelnen Knoten des Baumes werden Verweise eingerichtet, die ihre semantischen Beziehungen darstellen und die Struktur sowohl einer Hierarchie als auch eines Netzwerkes aufweisen, wobei sämtliche Bezeichnungen mehrsprachig gehalten werden und jedem Produkt der entsprechende Knoten der Netzwerkstruktur zugeordnet wird.
