  Kettenschweissofen.

Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht, Fig. 3 einen Querschnitt des Ofens.

I stellt den Herdkörper.

  Chain welding furnace.

The invention relates to chain welding furnaces of the type in which the chain links to be welded are heated to welding heat through fire slots provided in the furnace hearth.

The aim of the invention is to create a welding furnace with slot firing suitable for chains of different strengths, in which chain links with a thickness of 3 to 30 111111 can be hung up in a simple and rapid manner, depending on the requirements. This purpose is achieved according to the invention in that the fire slot plates of the furnace. s can be slidably arranged on the stove body, so that by shifting these plates the fire slot between them can be made narrower or wider as required.

In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is illustrated, namely Fig. I shows a longitudinal section. Fig. 2 is a plan view, Fig. 3 is a cross section of the furnace.

I put the stove body. 2 the masonry covering the earthen body, 3 the combustion and ignition channel, 4 the actual furnace hearth and 5 a slag drainage channel.

As can be seen from FIG. 3, the stove hearth is covered by plates x, x which are shaped like one another and which are arranged on the furnace body of the invention so as to be displaceable in relation to one another. By moving the plates together or apart, the slot width y can be reduced or enlarged as required, so that these simple means provide the possibility of entering the furnace. to hang up the weakest and strongest chain links without deteriorating its heating effect.

In the exemplary embodiment described above, the plates x, x are designed as support plates for the known holding tool w for the workpiece and are designed on the inner cover parts of the furnace in such a way that their inner profile coincides with the cross-sectional profile of the furnace hearth round cross-section fits exactly.
