  Connection of intersecting window bars.

The subject of the invention is a connection of crossing window bars, in which the longitudinal bars for the passage of the cross bars and the flange of the cross bars is cut out at the crossing point. According to the invention, flat bars are inserted on both sides of the web of the longitudinal rungs through the cutout in the flange of the transverse bars, the width of the cutout is equal to twice the width of an insert bar and the web thickness of the longitudinal prose. An advantage over known types of connection of crossing window bars is that the bar legs intended for the glass support are not permanently rolled, but are attached loosely on both sides of the web, expediently in the form of bottle bars.

It is thus possible to use a supporting rung without disadvantage for the glazing with a cross-section of the same opposite, or also a conventional flat bar in a perforated edge position, which significantly reduces the production costs.

In the drawing, an embodiment of the connection is shown, namely in FIGS. 1 and 2 in a cross section each along the line A-B and B-C of FIG. 3. From FIG. 3, a complete connection of a crossbar can be seen in plan. On both sides along the rung (a) there are rails (b) which

which does not require further fasteners. The two sliding strips (b) simultaneously form the putty fold and stop strips of the glass in the case of glazing. Flat tiles are expediently used as sliding strips. however, this is not absolutely necessary. but strips with a different cross-section can also be used.
