Ofen.
In

Oven.
The subject matter of the invention is a heating furnace with a heat store through which the combustion gases pass and with an iron jacket surrounding the heat store. According to the invention, the space between the heat accumulator and the iron jacket is released by reversible flaps for the passage of either the heating gases or the room air to be heated, but the space enclosed by the heat accumulator is constantly flowed through by the heating gases.
The invention is shown schematically in the drawing,
The iron jacket b encloses the heat accumulator a, so that a space c remains between the heat accumulator and the iron jacket.
The furnace is marked with d, the closable air inlet and outlet openings in the jacket b are marked with f and g. The outlet pipe h for the hot gases opens into the chimney on the one hand and into the heat storage tank on the other. This outlet pipe has two openings within the space c which are bordered by pipe sockets. In this pipe socket there are flaps t. Underneath the closable openings f are interchangeable flaps i1, which are moved by slide Ci from the outside in such a way that they open the room c either for the passage of the heating gases or the room air. In Fig. I of the drawing, which shows the cross section of the furnace, the space c is free for the passage of the heating gases.
In
Fig. 2 shows the room c open for the passage of room air. (Fig. 3 shows a true section through the furnace at the height of the flue pipe h.)
The stove works as follows:
The openings fund 9 are closed, the flaps i and il are open. The space c is open for the entry and withdrawal of the heating gases (Fig. 1). The heating gases flow through the
Space c and the inner space of the heat accumulator. The Eisenmautel b heats up and gives off its heat to the room. At the same time, the heat is stored in the jacket a. The inner surfaces of the heat accumulator a are also heated by the fire gases flowing through the inner space of the same.
If the room is warmed up, the interchangeable flaps i and il are turned by the slide e and el in such a way that the room c is now closed for the passage of the fire gases, but is opened for the passage of the room air. The openings fund 9 in the iron jacket b are then also open. Now the room air to be heated flows
