PATENTSCHRIFT Nia. 7905.
CLASSE 30 : GESUNDHEITSPFLEGE. c) Inhalations-, heilgymnastische und Massage-Apparate, Teilettegegenstände, Bäder, elektro- und licht- therapeutische Einrichtungen. CUR POPE ix LOUISVILLE (KENTUCKY, V. ST. v. A.).
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

PATENT LETTER Nia. 7905.
CLASSE 30: HEALTH CARE. c) Inhalation, therapeutic gymnastics and massage devices, parts of parts, baths, electro- and light-therapeutic devices. CUR POPE ix LOUISVILLE (KENTUCKY, V. ST. V. A.).
Apparatus for preventing you from breathing through the mouth.
EMI1.1
can only be done normally through the nose.
In the drawing shows:
EMI1.2
The device is held in place by the pressure exerted by the elastic material.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Because of its soft and pliable nature and because it adapts comfortably to the curve of the tooth tube, the new appliance can be worn without any discomfort both in the sleeping and in the waking state.
Moreover, the new apparatus differs advantageously from similar ones made of hard material by its automatic, valve-like action, in that the inner part makes it impossible to exhale by pressing against the inside of the lips, while the outer part also prevents inhalation that he presses his lips from the outside. The curvature of the appliance adapts to the teeth and the dental flesh, avoiding any distortion of the mouth during use.
Furthermore, the gentle pressure exerted by the device prevents the lips from opening so that they remain shot in the normal way.
Should they nevertheless open, breathing through the mouth is prevented in the manner described above, so that the effect is the same as when the lips are closed.
