Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Ein. oder Zweiseitenkühlar für Flugzeug. motoren, dessen innere Ausgestaltung sich im wesentlichen mit der Bauart und dem inneren
Aufbau der bekannten Stirnkühler deckt. Der Erfindung gemäss ist jedoch seine Stirnfläche nicht wie beim Stirnkühler gegen die horizontale Mittelebene des Rumpfes, sondern gegen dessen vertikale Mittelebene unter einem bestimmten Winkel geneigt. Hiedurch, wie durch seine Anpassung an die Spantform des Rumpfes, wird der Luftwiderstand verringert und seine Beschädigungsgefahr bei Kopfstürzen beseitigt.
In der Zeichnung stellt Fig. 1 eine Vorderansicht, Fig. 2 eine Aufsicht des an- gebauten Kühlers dar.
A ist der Rumpf, B der Kühler, welcher auf beiden Seiten des Rumpfes oder unter entsprechender Vergrösserung auf einer Seite angebaut werden kann.
