Metallkummet.
Der Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein aus Metall hergestelltes Kummet für Zugtiere und weist Verbesserungen der Verbindungs- und Einstellvorrichtungen an den Teilstellen des Rahmens in der Höhenrichtung auf.
In der Zeichnung ist das neue Kummet beispielsweise dargestellt, es zeigt Fig. 1 den ganzen Kummetrahmen in Vorderansicht und Schnitt, Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht und Fig. 3 einen Querschnitt durch den Rahmen nach angedeuteten Schnitten.
A1, A2 ist der obere, B B2 der untere Kummetrahmen. Beide Rahmen sind aus Metallblech bzw. aus Aluminium hergestellt und weisen, wie Fig. 3 zeigt, im Schnitt ein längliches O-Profil auf. Das Profil des oberen Rahmens ist kleiner gehalten, als das Profil des unteren Rahmens, so dass die beiden Rahmen leicht ineinander geschoben werden können.
Die beiden oberen Rahmen Al'A2 Bind zwecks Einstellung des Kummets in der Breite an der Spitze durch aufgenietetes Gelenk c bzw. durch eine durch die Wandungen durchgehende Stange gelenkig verbunden. Die unteren Enden der Rahmen BI, B2 sind röhrenförmig ausgebildet und gegenseitig durch ein eingeschobenes, dem Schliessradius entsprechend geformtes Rohrstück d verbunden.
Zwecks Feststellung dieser Teile in der gewünschten Lage, die der Halsweite des Pferdes entspricht, sind die röhrenförmigen Rahmenenden, sowie das Rohrstück d, mit Löchern versehen, durch welche zwei Feststellbolzen h durchgehen.
Die Einstellung der ineinander geschobenen Kummetrahmen-4), und Bl, B in der Höhenrichtung erfolgt-und darin besteht die Erfindung - durch zwei Paar Schliesshaken e, die mit ihren hakenförmigen Enden in Löcher eingreifen, welche sowohl in dem oberen, als auch in dem unteren Rahmen vorgesehen sind. Die Schliesshaken sind derart ausgebildet, dass sie beim Schluss elastisch übereinander einschnappen und durch ihre überragenden Nasen so fest miteinander in Eingriff treten, dass dieser selbst durch grösste Erschütterung nicht gelöst wird.
