   Verpackungskorb für   Säureballon8.   



   Der den Gegenstand des Hauptpatentes Nr. 5550 bildende Verpackungskorb für Säureballons und ähnliche zerbrechliche Behälter besteht aus einem mit Draht-oder Bandeisen geflecht überspannten Gerippe von dünnen Eisenrohren, in welchem ein zur Aufnahme des Ballons bestimmtes Drahtnetz derart aufgehängt ist, dass der Ballon mit dem äusseren Korb nicht in Berührung kommen kann. Versuche haben nun ergeben, dass es vortheilhaft ist, das Drahtnetz durch ein aus Bandeisen hergestelltes Gitterwerk zu erses da dieses dem Glasballon mehr Stützpunkte gibt und sich besser an ihn anschmiegt, wie ein Drahtnetz. Die Berührung des inneren aus dem Gitterwerke bestehenden Tragkorbes mit dem äusseren Gestelle wird durch im unteren Drittheile dieses Gestelles gespannte Drähte verhindert. 



   Beiliegende Zeichnung veranschaulicht den abgeänderten Verpackungskorb, u. zw. zeigt Fig. 1 denselben im Aufriss. Fig. 2 ist ein Schnitt längs der Linie   A-B.   



   Der zur Aufnahme des zerbrechlichen Ballons dienende Behälter b besteht aus einem Gitterwork aus Bandeisen, welches im   äusseren Gestelle a,   das wie dargestellt, ebenfalls ganz aus Bandeisen hergestellt sein kann, aufgehängt ist. Die im Unterteile des Gestelles gespannten Drähte c verhindern die Berührung des Innenkorbes mit dem Gestelle.

   The packaging basket for acid balloons and similar fragile containers, which is the subject of main patent No. 5550, consists of a framework of thin iron tubes spanned with wire or iron band, in which a wire mesh intended to hold the balloon is suspended in such a way that the balloon with the outside Basket cannot come into contact. Experiments have now shown that it is advantageous to replace the wire mesh with a latticework made of band iron, as this gives the balloon more support points and hugs it better than a wire mesh. The contact of the inner supporting cage consisting of the latticework with the outer frame is prevented by wires tensioned in the lower third part of this frame.



   The accompanying drawing illustrates the modified packing basket, u. Fig. 1 shows the same in elevation. Fig. 2 is a section along the line A-B.



   The container b, which is used to hold the fragile balloon, consists of a lattice work made of iron straps, which is suspended in the outer frame a, which, as shown, can also be made entirely of iron straps. The wires c tensioned in the lower part of the frame prevent the inner basket from touching the frame.
