Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 EMI1.1

 EMI1.1

In the case of steam burner lamps for hanging light, it is known to arrange part of the mixing pipe outside the chimney and the flame gases in order to prevent excessive heating of the mixing pipe and premature ignition of the steam-air mixture.

The mixing pipe is divided in its length outside the chimney and the parts are formed at the opposite ends for the purpose of sucking air into the mixing pipe to form an injector.

This design of the lamp results in a cooling of the steam mixture that exceeds the desired level and even a condensation of the same, since the air is sucked into the cooling mixing tube only from the cold zone.

These disadvantages are eliminated in the lamp according to the invention in that the dividing point of the mixing pipe, which forms the second suction opening, is arranged at the point of entry of the pipe into the chimney. The part of the fresh air sucked in last flows through a part of the mixing tube already in the hot gas flow, so it can no longer cause harmful cooling. In the part of the mixing pipe located in the chimney, the pre-ignition of the vapor-air mixture is prevented as a result of the cooling effect of the air sucked in at the point of entry of the mixing pipe.

The drawing illustrates the lamp according to the invention in one embodiment in section.

The liquid fuel flows into the lamp from the container a through the drain pipe d and reaches the evaporator pipe e, where it is evaporated and flows through the nozzle formed at the end of the pre-evaporator pipe into the mixing pipe f.

The mixing tube f is to prevent overheating and premature ignition of the
Steam-air mixture arranged in a known manner for Toll outside the chimney i.

At the point where the mixing pipe enters the chimney i, it is in his
