Description

Bobbin lace made on a single-thread lace machine with a gauze-like shape
Reason.

The subject of the present invention is an improvement of the lace protected by patent Xr 7 13 and made on a single-thread lace-making machine with a gauze-like base. In which special zigzag-shaped threads are worked into it in such a way that they form inscribed squares on the squares of the Gaxpgrund and thus give it the appearance of the well-known "Filet antique".
 EMI1.1
"Filet antique" can now be developed as an ordinary fillet base and, on the other hand, to form the actual figures, sometimes larger, now smaller squares of the tip base can be filled.

In the drawing, the invention is illustrated in an exemplary embodiment.

1 shows a piece of such a new tip in a schematic representation and FIG. 2 shows a part of the same on a larger scale.

In this drawing are (t the longitudinal or chain strips, each of which are braided together from four threads, lying at a certain distance from one another, and b the transverse or Schufi strips formed by exchanging threads, which, in common with the former, form the actual gauze or filet-like base of the tip in these are

corresponds perfectly. The weft strips b are then formed by exchanging wn threads between this four-thread braid c and the adjacent chain strips a, as can be seen from FIG. 2 of the drawing, so that the coupling no longer makes the long distances between the chain strips a for this purpose have and thereby a

are used for thread exchange when forming the weft strips b.

At the crossing tunnels with the chain strips a, the threads c, il can be integrated into them as in the earlier patent mentioned above, or they can also be interwoven. Between the fastening points, two converging threads ('and d are advantageously connected to one another by twisting or the like.

Since there are now four threads at the binding points of the threads c, d in the weft strip b and these are bound together in the same way as the Kotten strips a to form a four-thread braid, you have it in your hand, as can be seen from the drawing To change the formation of the top bottom by going from the filet antique "to a usual filet bottom, in which case the one large square of the former is replaced by four smaller squares of the latter (Fig. 2, bottom). To form a figure one can then fill some of these smaller squares (Fig. 1) or some of these small and some large squares.Through this and through the change in the nature of the ground one can of course produce far more varied patterns than is the case with
