Die Eintragstange n ist in geeigneter Weise gerade geführt und erhält durch Hubscheibe und Schwinghebel (nicht gezeichnet) eine hin und her gehende Bewegung über die ganze Stuhlbreite, dabei durch das jeweils von den Kettenfäden gebildete Fach hindurchgehend. Während des Durchganges durch das Fach führt der vordere Teil der Eintragstange a sich in entsprechenden Ausnehmungen der Zinken b eines Kammes, durch dessen Lücken die Kettenfäden hindurchgehen.
Das vordere Ende der Eintragstange a trägt, wie Fig. 2 zeigt, eine Hülse c, die an den Enden geschlossen und auf der Eintragstange a verschiebbar ist. Innerhalb der Hülse c trägt die Eintragstange a einen Kolben d, gegen dessen beide Seiten sich Druckfedern e, e' stützen, die andererseits an den Böden c', c"der Hülse c anliegen. In solcher Weise ist die Hülse c in beiderlei Richtung federnd auf dem Ende der Führungsstange a verschiebbar. Auf der Hülse c sind zwei senkrechte Lager f, f' für den Drehbolzen g der Eintragzangenbacken h, h' befestigt.
Der Bolzen y ist in den Lagern undrehbar und auf ihm sind Drehfedern i, i'befestigt, die auf die Zangenbacken h, h' wirken und beide Backen in geschlossener Lage (Fig. 5) in wagerechter Stellung halften. Der obere Backen h des Eintragrangemaules besitzt eines rückwärtigen Ansatz j und der untere Backen t'einen rückwärtigen Ansatz f'. Über den Ansatz j des Backens h greift in bekannter Weise das hakenförmige obere Ende k" des in einer ortsfesten Führung 1 senkrecht geführten Öffnungsschiehers k, während unter den Ansatz j' des Backens h' der zweite, gleicherweise geführte Öffnungsschieber k'greift, wenn die Eintragzange sich in einer ihrer Endlagen auf der einen oder anderen Stuhlseite befindet.
