  Respirator.

Fig. 2 zeigt den Schutzdecke ! im Längsschnitt.

  Respirator.

Protective devices are known by means of which the lungs, throat and teeth of workers employed in premises saturated with toxic or harmful vapors or dusty rooms are to be protected, and perforated and perforated in places over the mouth and nose, if necessary provided with filter inserts Protective covers exist.

The present invention relates to a device for securing a lung. protector on the head, which consists of two sickle-shaped sticks that are adapted to be placed behind and above the auricles.

The object of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows the entire device attached to the human head. Fig. 2 shows the protective cover! in longitudinal section.

The protective cover consists of two approximately identically shaped, perforated sheet metal walls 1, 2, preferably made of thin aluminum sheet, which are designed in such a way that they cover the mouth and nose openings. An easily replaceable layer of cotton wool, a sponge or similar filling soaked with coolants (e.g. menthol) or disinfectants is inserted into the space 3, through which the inhaled air is filtered or disinfected and cooled.

The protective cover is attached at both ends by means of adjustable rubber bands 4 to sickle-shaped, rigid pieces 3, which are designed in such a way that they can be placed above and behind the ear cups of the worker. The two pieces 5 are connected to one another by means of two straps 6, 7, one of which is placed over the top of the head and the other over the neck. In this way, the protective cover is secured in its position of use elastically, reliably and without inconvenience.
