Erfindungsgegenstand ist ein Schutzschild für Geschütze oder dgl. zum Schutz der Bedienungsmannschaft während des Ladens und Feuerns und unterscheidet sich von den bekannten Einrichtungen dieser Art dadurch, dass man den Schild ohne das Zielen zu hindern, dachartig über dem Geschütz in die geeigneten Scbutzste ! ! ungen bringen kann.
In der Zeichnung ist : Fig. 1 die Seitenansicht eines Geschützes mit dem Schutzschild gemäss der Erfindung und Fig. 2 ist eine Hinteransicht davon.
Das Gescbützrobr 10 ruht, wie dargestellt, auf einer Lafette von annähernd dreieckiger Gestalt, die mit 11 bezeichnet ist und deren Kopf 12 in üblicher Weise die Achse 13 für die Räder 14 trägt. Der Schwanz 15 der Lafette ruht in üblicher Weise bei der Feuerstellung auf dem Boden.
Der Schutzschild 16 besteht aus kugelsicherem Material und sein Hauptteil 17 hat halbkreisförmigen Durchschnitt und schräg zu ihm angeordnete Stützen 18, deren obere Enden an der Unterseite des Teiles 17 befestigt sind. An dem Teil 17 ist vorn ein Teil 19 von ungefähr Schaufelform so befestigt, dass er in einem Winkel zum Teil 17 steht.
Die unteren Enden der Stützen 18 des Schildes sind in Längsschlitzen 20 in den Seitenteilen 21 der Lafette 11 verstellbar und werden durch Bolzen 22, die durch Öffnubgen 23 in den Stützen und in den Seitenteilen der Lafette gesteckt werden, in Stellung gehalten. An den Stützen 18 sind Arme 24 drehbar befestigt, die in Schlitzen 25 im Lafettenkopf 12 senkrecht'verstellbar sind. Stifte 26, die durch - Löcher 27 in diesen
Armen 24 und 28 im Lafettenkopf gesteckt werden, sichern die Arme in ihrer Stellung.
Aus vorstehendem wird es klar sein, dass der Bedienungsmann des Geschützes die
Stützen 18 ans den Schlitzen 20 der Lafettenwand herausheben und den Schild 16 um den Drehpunkt 26 mit seinem Teil 19 gegen das Geschützrohr 10 führen kann, wobei eine umgekehrt V-förmige Kerbe 30 an der Vorderkante des Schildes das Zielen bzw. Richten des Geschützes gestattet, während der Schild den Bedienungsmann gegen
Gewehrfeuer deckt.
Es wird klar sein, dass der Schild infolge der Anordnung der Löcher in den Lafettenwandungen sowie in den Stützen und Armen sich durch die durch genannte
Löcher geführte Steckbolzen in beliebige geeignete Stellung über dem Geschütz einstellen
