Great means for cleansing the human body.
It has been found that the tryptic enzymes, e.g. B. pancreatin, the enzymes of the pancreas and similar enzymes, are an excellent toilet substance. It is well known that the human body separates protein and fat residues through the skin pores, some of which settle in the skin pores.
The tryptic enzymes are now ideally suited to make these substances soluble. They have an extremely beneficial influence on the skin. The skin becomes noticeably soft and delicate and the soap consumption is also reduced.
As an additive to the washing and bathing water, 05 to 1 g of pancreatin per 100 l of water is sufficient.
For use by the public, it is advisable to make the enzymes available in the appropriate dilution. Any indifferent, easily soluble agent is suitable for this purpose, e.g. B. table salt and the like., Or solvents such as glycerine. Of course, the enzymes can also be used in another cleaning agent, e.g. B. soap, are added.
The pancreatic tryptic enzymes have been used for other purposes. According to the American patent specification No. 95731G (Dyck), they are intended for the treatment of animal hair and according to the German patent specification No. 258H8O (Schalenkamp)
