   Das Problem, den Ausbreitungsvorgang der elektrischen Wellen mittels Antennen, die in Bohrlöcher eingeführt sind, ins Erdinnere zu verlegen bzw. innerhalb eines Grubenbaues in ähnlicher Weise eine Antenne anzuordnen, stösst da auf Schwierigkeiten, wo es sich darum handelt, eine vom Anfangspunkt der Antenne bzw. des Bohrrohres weiter fortliegende feuchte Schicht, die zu Isolationsstörungen Veranlassung gibt, mit der Schwingung zu durchsetzen. Erregt man die Antenne in der gebräuchlichen Form, so liegt zumeist, in Anbetracht der   gün : ; tigen Strahlung,   der Spannungsknoten in der Nähe der Funkenstrecke, an Erde oder bei einem symmetrischen System in der Mitte des Systems, jedenfalls also zu Tage, wenn beispielsweise das Problem einer Ferntelegraphie durch das Erdinnere zu lösen ist.
