   Vorfahren zur Gewinnung von   spezifisch     schwerem Russ   behufs Herstellung von Dogcnlamponkohlen, Kohlenelektroden etc., basierend auf dem Principe der Verbrennung kohlenstoffreicher Materialien unter geeigneter Luftzufuhr in schmalen,   schacbtähnlichen   Öfen sind bekannt (dentsche Patentschrift Nr. 105633). Bei diesen Constructionen war jedoch die Möglichkeit, verschieden feste Russmodifikationen zu erhalten an die fast unveränderlichen Dimensionen des Ofens, vornehmlich dos   Ll1ftzuführungsspaltes   gebunden und wären demnach für die Erzeugung mehrerer Russgattungen ebenso viele Öfen nothwendig, oder es bedürfte dies zumindest zeitraubender und schwieriger Manipulationen. 



   Die vorliegende Erfindung hat nun eine Verbesserung, bezw. Erweiterung des soeben geschilderten Principos nach der vorerwähnten Richtung zum Gegensande, indem sie ihren Zweck, nämlich die Darstellung eines Russes von jedem gewünschten specifischen Gewichte der   Hauptsache   nach in der Weise zu erreichen sucht, dass die durch dio   eigenartige   Luftzuführung erreichte, kegelförmig gestaltete Verbrennungsflamme, welche
