Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet ein mit Tasten zu spielendes, doppelsaitiges Strichinstrument mit Streichbändern, das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass die beiden Saitenbezüge an der oberen und unteren Decke eines Resonanzkastens befestigt sind und dass zwischen je zwei gemeinsam anzustreichenden Saiten eine Rolle angeordnet ist, um durch Tatenanschlag mittels dieser Rolle das Streichband gleichmässig an beide Saiten drücken zu können.
Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist durch die Zeichnungen in einer Ausführungsform als Streichzither im Wesen veranschaulicht. Fig. 1 zeigt die Draufsicht auf das neue Instrument, Fig. 2 die Saitenansicht mit der Tastatur. Fig. 3 das Detail des Hebels. Die an der oberen und unteren Decke eines Resonanzkastens a angeordneten Saiten g sind mit Schleifen in Stiften k eines Rahmens j eingehängt und an der entgegengesetzten Rahmenseite durch Schräubchen über ein Auflager gespannt. Quer durch das Instrument zieht sich das Griffbrett b, dessen Stege c quer zur Saitenrichtung angeordnet sind und das anderseitige Auflager für die Saiten bilden.
