Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Bettgestelle, deren End-und Seitenteile einen an den Ver- bindungsstellen scharnierartig verbundenen, ein Ganzes darstellenden Rahmen bilden, so dass das Bettgestell in der Längsrichtung flach zusammenlegbar ist. Der Erfindung gemäss erfolgt die Verbindung der Seiten- und Endteile des Bettgestelles durch mit den einen dieser Teile starr verbundene Achsen, die in Hülsen der anderen Teile dicht schliessend eingesteckt sind, so dass eine möglichst fugenlose Verbindung geschaffen, das Festsetzen von Staub und Schmutz sowie das Einnisten von Ungeziefer verhindert wird.
