Fig. 4 zeigt die Kupplung im gestreckten Zustande.

Coupling, in particular for trams.
The invention relates to that type of pulling couplings with an eyelet weakened at the side of the tension point of attack and, corresponding to this weakening, a narrow hook opening whose eyelet is mounted in a horizontal elongated hole in the drawbar by means of a part designed as a smooth bolt with lateral collars, with bolts and The elongated hole is dimensioned in such a way that when the coupling is tight, the thicker eyelet part lies in the pulling direction, while when the coupling is loose, the weaker eyelet part can be rotated in the pulling direction.
The invention is based on the fact that there is an intermediate piece between the pull rod and the smooth bolt, which is hinged to the pull rod and has the elongated hole at the end, with the hook being located on the bolt. By switching on the intermediate piece between the tie rod and the bolt, the following are created

the hook can be hooked in more comfortably. The reinforcement bead can therefore be kept longer. This significantly increases the safety of accidental disconnection. An essential advantage is that the coupling can now also be easily attached to existing old pull rails, which usually only have a circular hole.
It is impossible to connect two hooks with each other, as only one connection of a coupling eye with a coupling hook is possible.
In the drawing, this pull coupling is shown for example, namely Fig. 1 shows the coupling member in side view and Fig. 2 shows the associated front view.
Fig. 3 shows the connection of two coupling members in plan view with partial section.
Fig. 4 shows the coupling in the stretched state. Fig. 5 shows the connection of two cars with sagging coupling and Fig. 6 the coupling stretched.
The two cars A and B are provided with identically designed coupling elements.
The pull rod a located at the bottom of the car has a round hole for receiving a bolt i, which can be formed into rivet heads on both sides or also one

makes impossible. When the coupling is stretched, the side pieces k are also transferred from the vertical direction to the horizontal direction in the manner shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, so that the elongated holes b are now directed vertically and make it impossible to rotate the coupling ring in the horizontal direction.
This significantly increases the security against unintentional uncoupling. The coupling hook g hangs on the smooth bolt c between the two side pieces. In these two side pieces k, which are suspended from the cylindrical pin i and each have a long hole b for inserting the bolt c on which the coupling hook g sits, there is therefore the improvement of the known pulling coupling.

1. Towing coupling, in particular for trolleys, the coupling eye of which is weakened on the two side parts and is mounted so that it can be rotated by means of a cylindrical bolt part in an elongated hole so that in the loose coupling state with the weakened eye part it is pushed over a correspondingly narrow mouth of the hook (or
Pushing off) can be set in the pulling direction, characterized in that two side pieces are articulated on the pull rod (a) on a bolt (i), each of which has a vertical elongated locb (b) for receiving the bolt part (c) of the Has eyelet.
