   In der Stammpatentschrift Nr. 66721 ist ein Verfahren zur Reinigung und Erneuerung von Ölgemälden beschrieben ; es ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Gemälde in geeignetel Weise mit gewissen organischen Körpern behandelt wird, so z. B. mit Benzylalkohol,   Benzoesäurebenzylester, Benzoesäureäthylester, Chlorhydrin, Glyzerinazetaten, ölsaurem     Äthyl, Phtalsäuredimethylester usw.   Es hat sich nun gezeigt, dass derartige Körper sich nicht nur zur Reinigung und Erneuerung von   Ölgemälden,   sondern auch in gleicher Weise mit Vorteil zur Behandlung von Fresken, Aquarellen, Stereochromion, mit   Kaseinfarben   oder in Tempera gemalten Bildern oder Photographien usw. verwenden lassen.

   Die Behandlung der zu reinigenden Bilder kann in der in der   Stammpatentschrift   Nr. 66721 gekennzeichneten Weise geschehen.
