Während alle bekannten Vorrichtungen aus einem Transformator und einem Ozonerzeuger bestehen, welche durch elektrische Leitungen miteinander verbunden werden müssen, wie z. B. der Ozonapparat von Siemens & Halske, ist bei der vorliegenden Erfindung der Transformator im Inneren des Ozonerzeugers angeordnet. Dies ist dadurch erreicht, dass die Hochspannungsspule des Transformators unter Zwischenschaltung eines Dielektrikums von einem Metalldraht, einem Metallnetz oder einer Metallhülse umgeben ist, welche eine Elektrode des Ozonerzeugers bildet und mit dem Eisenkern des Transformators leitend verbunden ist.
