  Kugellager.

  Ball-bearing.

The invention relates to a ball bearing with an inner race seated on a clamping sleeve and essentially consists in the fact that this inner race is clasped and held on its spherical side surfaces from the outside by laterally encompassing the ring.

The drawing illustrates, in FIGS. 1 and 2, two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention in longitudinal section. Furthermore, Fig. 3 shows one half of the clamping sleeve according to Fig. 1 in side or. in frontal view, FIG. 4 the associated clamping ring in view or in section, FIG. 5 the clamping sleeve according to FIG. 2 in longitudinal section and FIG. 6 the divided outer race in view or the ring holding it together in section.

The ball bearing shown in Fig. 1 has a shaft loosely surrounding the shaft, composed of two shell halves p (Fig. 3), the ends of which are provided with longitudinal slots s for the purpose of flexibility in a known manner. According to the invention, the clamping sleeve o is flanged at both ends and these flanges are conical on their outer surfaces, so that the clamping rings t (Fig. 4) pushed onto the latter with their conical inner surface w, the divided inner race g on its spherical side surfaces t, against which the same surfaces g of the clamping sleeve o are pressed, clasping and holding tightly.

The clamping rings t each consist of two rings u (Fig. 4), each of which consists of two segment-shaped halves. The segments of the two rings u held together by pins v are offset from one another.

The inner race 9 is surrounded by the split rotatable ball cage 1 and this by the likewise split outer race tn, which has a spherical outer surface. The two parts of the ring m 'are held together by a split ring n, the inner surface of which is spherical. The division of the ring m takes place according to a plane which is inclined to the shaft axis.

In the embodiment of the ball bearing according to FIG. 2, the flanged ends 1 'of the clamping bushes 0 are replaced by rings f which are turned inside conically and in which the opposing surfaces d of the clamping bushing a engage for the purpose of clamping the inner race g.

The sleeve a consists of two axially screwable parts a ', a "(Fig. 3 and each of these parts is composed of two semi-cylindrical halves, the opposite of which

be pressed in order to achieve a low level of flexibility of the same in addition to the secure attachment and precise adjustment of the inner race on the clamping sleeve.
