Verfahren zur Vorbehandlung von Aluminiumgegenständen für die weitere galvanische
Vernickelung.
Die Erfindung bezweckt, ein vollständiges Anhaften des direkten Nlcklbeschlages auf dem Aluminium zu erzielen. Zu diesem Behufe werden die Gegenstände n geeigneten Bädern einer Reinigung unterzogen, die in der folgenden Weise durchgeführt wird.
Das für die Vernickelung bestimmte Stück wird zunächst in lauwarmes Wasser eingetaucht, dann in Wasser, welches ungefähr zoo des im Handel erhältlichen ('yankaliums aufweist, abgespült und nachdem es etwa 30 Sekunden in diesem Bade verblieben ist, mit sehr reinem Wasser al) gewaschen. Nunmehr wird das Stück in eine Lösung, bestehend aus 500 g handelsüblicher Salzsäure, 500 g destilliertem Wasser und 1 g Elsel1chlorUr eingetaucht, dann mit klarem Wasser abgespült und in ein übliches galvanisches Ver-

Auf diese Weise wurden sehr fest haftende Niederschläge erhalten. wie sie bisher infolge der mangelhaften Vorbehandlung und der dadurch bedingten langsamen Bildung von Tonerde zwischen dem Aluminiumggenstand und der Nickelschichte nicht erreicht wurden.
