   Die Erfindung bezweckt, ein vollständiges Anhaften des direkten   Nlcklbeschlages   auf dem Aluminium zu erzielen. Zu diesem Behufe werden die Gegenstände n geeigneten Bädern einer Reinigung unterzogen, die in der folgenden Weise durchgeführt wird. 



   Das für die Vernickelung bestimmte Stück wird zunächst in lauwarmes Wasser eingetaucht, dann in Wasser, welches ungefähr   zoo   des im Handel erhältlichen   ('yankaliums   aufweist, abgespült und nachdem es etwa 30 Sekunden in diesem Bade verblieben ist, mit sehr reinem Wasser al) gewaschen.
