Description

Equipment on photographic apparatus to determine the duration of exposure.

The present invention relates to a device on photographic apparatus for determining the duration of exposure. While the pendulum is independent of the actuation of the lens shutter in the known bolting pendulums, according to the present invention the pendulum, metronome or the like is connected to the lens slide in such a way that it starts to oscillate automatically when the lens shutter is opened.

The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the invention. FIG. 1 is a side view, partially sectioned through the lens mount in detail, and FIG. 2 is a plan view of FIG.

The carrier 5 for the photographic lens is attached to the support plate 2.

The same is equipped with a locking slide 8, which carries a wedge-shaped extension 9 which protrudes into the path of the pendulum 10 of a metronome 11 so that the pendulum 10 is held by the extension 9 when the lens is closed (FIG. 1).

When the lens shutter is opened, the metronome is released by the extension 9 and now begins to vibrate.

The metronome can be designed so that a scale for setting the pendulum weight is provided on the same, which is empirically divided according to the necessary exposure times for the photosensitive paper used or the like, so that the lens slide always after the same number of metronome strokes is to be pushed into the closed position. This connection of the lens slide can of course be used for various photographic devices with the same advantages.

   PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Device on photographic apparatus for determining the duration of exposure by means of a metronome, characterized in that the metronome is connected to the slide or the like closing the photographic lens in such a way that the metronome comes into operation when the lens cover is opened.
