Mittels Saugwirkung anhaftende Figur für Reiseschachspiele oder dgl.
Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet eine mittels Saugwirkung anhaftende Figur für Reiseschachspiele oder dgl., die dem Wesen nach darin besteht, dass der Fuss jeder Spielfigur zu einem elastischen Saugnäpfchen ausgebildet ist, dessen Saugraum an die Saugleitung einer an der Figur vorgesehenen, von der Aussenseite derselben zu betätigenden Saugvorrichtung angeschlossen ist, wodurch ermöglicht wird, dass die auf das Schachbrett gesetzten Figuren auf diesem festhalten und leicht abgenommen und versetzt werden können.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes in Ansicht bei teilweisem Längsschnitte.
Der in der Zeichnung dargestellte Turm 1 eines Schachspieles weist ein in seinem Fuss la eingelassenes Saugnäpfchen 2 bekannter Art auf. Ein in den Figurenkopf lb eingesetzter, teilweise vorragender Saugballon 3 steht mittels eines mit ihm verschraubten, durch eine achsiale Bohrung der Figur geschobenen Röhrchens 4 mit dem Saugraum 2a des Näpfchen 2 in Verbindung ; letzteres wird durch den Bördelrand 4a desselben an den Figurenfuss 1a angepresst und festgehalten.
Beim Anfassen der Figur wird mittels des Daumens der Saugballon 3 zusammengedrückt und dadurch die in seinem Innern befindliche Luft ausgepresst. In diesem Zustande wird die Figur auf die gewünschte Stelle des Schachbrettes aufgedrückt, so dass in an sich bekannter Weise die Saugwirkung des Näpfchen 2 erfolgt. Diese wird, da sie zum Festhalten der Figur bei starken Erschütterungen nicht ausreichend wäre, durch Nachlassen des Druckes auf den Saugballon 3 erhöht, indem derselbe, seiner Elastizität nachgebend, seine ursprüngliche Form wieder annimmt und durch das den Saugraum des Näpfchens mit seinem Inneren verbindende Röhrchen 4 den restlichen Teil der Luft in diesem aufsaugt.
Beim Abnehmen der Figur zwecks deren Versetzung wird durch rasches, kräftiges Eindrücken des Saugballons 3 mittels des Daumens die Druckdifferenz zwischen Saugnapfinnerem und der Aussenluft derart vermindert, dass ein müheloses und stossfreies Abnehmen der Figur erfolgen kann.
Bei Undichtwerden einer der beiden Saugvorrichtungen kann dieselbe leicht und schnell durch eine neue ersetzt werden, indem durch Abschrauben des Saughallons 3 vom eingeschraubten Ende des Röhrchens 4 entweder dieser oder nach Herausziehen des Röhrchens aus der zentralen Bohrung in der Figur das Sangniipfchen vom ersteren abgenommen und durch ein aufgeschobenes neues ersetzt werden kann, worauf wieder die Befestigung der beiden Saugteile an der Figur erfolgt.
Die Saugvorrichtungen können selbstverständlich durch andere gleichwirkende Teile ersetzt werden und die Saugballons je nach der Gestalt der sie tragenden Figuren anders geformt und zweckdienlich befestigt werden.

The subject of the present invention is a figure for traveling chess games or the like that adheres by means of suction, which essentially consists in the fact that the foot of each game figure is designed as an elastic suction cup, the suction space of which is attached to the suction line of one provided on the figure, from the outside thereof actuating suction device is connected, which makes it possible that the pieces placed on the chessboard hold on to this and can be easily removed and moved.
The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in a view with partial longitudinal sections.
The tower 1 of a chess game shown in the drawing has a suction cup 2 of known type embedded in its foot la. A partially protruding suction balloon 3 inserted into the figure head 1b is connected to the suction space 2a of the cup 2 by means of a tube 4 screwed to it and pushed through an axial bore in the figure; the latter is pressed against the figure foot 1a by the beaded edge 4a of the same and held in place.
When the figure is touched, the suction balloon 3 is compressed by means of the thumb, thereby squeezing out the air located inside it. In this state, the figure is pressed onto the desired location on the chessboard, so that the suction effect of the cup 2 takes place in a manner known per se. Since it would not be sufficient to hold the figure in place in the event of strong vibrations, this is increased by releasing the pressure on the suction balloon 3, as the latter, yielding its elasticity, assumes its original shape again and through the tube connecting the suction space of the cup with its interior 4 absorbs the remaining part of the air in this.
When removing the figure for the purpose of relocating it, the pressure difference between the inside of the suction cup and the outside air is reduced by quickly and forcefully pressing the suction balloon 3 with the thumb so that the figure can be removed effortlessly and smoothly.
If one of the two suction devices leaks, the same can be easily and quickly replaced by a new one by unscrewing the suction balloon 3 from the screwed-in end of the tube 4 either by removing the tube or after pulling the tube out of the central hole in the figure, removing the tube from the former and through a postponed new one can be replaced, whereupon the two suction parts are again attached to the figure.
The suction devices can of course be replaced by other parts having the same effect, and the suction balloons can be shaped differently and appropriately attached depending on the shape of the figures carrying them.
