  Verfahren zum Auftragen von Flüssigkeiten auf Einwalzentrockenmaschinen. 



   Es ist bekannt, bei der Trocknung von Flüssigkeiten unter Benutzung von Trockentrommeln die zu trocknende Flüssigkeit entweder durch Eintauchen der Trockentrommel in die Flüssigkeit oder durch Übertragen der Flüssigkeit mittels Walzen oder durch Spritzen der Flüssigkeit auf die Walzen zu bringen. 



   Das vorliegende Verfahren besteht nun darin, die zu trocknende Flüssigkeit aus zwei mit Schwimmern versehenen hintereinander angeordneten und möglichst unterhalb der Walze liegenden Mulden zu entnehmen, um dadurch eine völlig gleichmässige Verteilung der zu trocknenden Flüssigkeit auf der   Trockenfläche   zu gewährleisten. 



   In der Zeichnung ist eine Vorrichtung zur Ausführung des Verfahrens dargestellt. 



   Nahezu unterhalb der Walze a liegt ein Halter b an dessen Ende möglichst unterhalb der Walze die beiden Mulden c und d vorgesehen sind. In beiden Mulden liegt je ein Schwimmer e bzw. f von der Breite der Auftragsfläche. Die Schwimmer bestehen aus besonders leichtem Stoff, zweckmässig aus Holz. Die Flüssigkeit wird durch das Rohr g den beiden Mulden zugeführt, in welchen sie sich auf gleiche Höhe einstellen kann. Bei gefülltem Trog d reicht die Flüssigkeit in diesem bis an die Walze a und benetzt diese. 



   Der Schwimmer f in dem Trog d an der Auftragstelle hat den Zweck, das Schäumen und die Hautbildung der zu trocknenden Flüssigkeit zu verhüten, so dass stets Flüssigkeit an die Überlaufstelle der Trogwand auf die Trommel gelangt. Durch den Schwimmer e im andern Troge c wird die aus dem Troge d aufgenommene Gutschicht gleichmässig abgestrichen und verteilt. Die Trommel dreht sich in der Richtung des Pfeils.

   It is known, when drying liquids using drying drums, to bring the liquid to be dried either by dipping the drying drum into the liquid or by transferring the liquid by means of rollers or by spraying the liquid onto the rollers.



   The present method consists in removing the liquid to be dried from two troughs provided with floats, arranged one behind the other and as far as possible below the roller, in order to ensure a completely uniform distribution of the liquid to be dried on the drying surface.



   The drawing shows a device for carrying out the method.



   Almost below the roller a there is a holder b at the end of which the two troughs c and d are provided as far as possible below the roller. In both troughs there is a float e or f the width of the application area. The floats are made of particularly light fabric, suitably made of wood. The liquid is fed through the pipe g to the two troughs in which it can be adjusted to the same height. When the trough d is full, the liquid in this reaches up to the roller a and wets it.



   The float f in the trough d at the point of application has the purpose of preventing foaming and skin formation of the liquid to be dried, so that liquid always reaches the overflow point of the trough wall on the drum. By the float e in the other trough c, the material layer picked up from the trough d is evenly leveled off and distributed. The drum rotates in the direction of the arrow.
