Durch die Einstellung der Kombinationsscheibe zu auf einen neuen Buchstaben ergeben sich die beiden anderen Buchstaben der neuen Kombination von selbst, indem deren Buchstaben alle 111 gleicher Richtung und um den gleichen Abstand verschoben sind.

Da nun die Änderung der Kombination stets in der Weise vorzunehmen ist, dass bloss der letzte Buchstabe der Kombination gewechselt wird, eine Umstellung für die übrigen Buchstaben oder sonstigen Zeichen ab er entfällt, so ist es Unberufenen unmögliche. den Öffnungsschlüssel zu entziffern. auch wenn sie den Vorgang bei der Kombisationsänderung beobachtet hätten.
Die Kombination schliesst sich selbsttätig durch Hineindrücken und beliebiges Drehen des Griffknopfes.
