B. a', b'gegen a", b".

Stator core for electrical machines.
The present invention relates to a new type of assembly of active stator cores of electrical machines, which corresponds to the structural requirements in the simplest manner and which results in a significant saving in material.
1 and 2 show above the central axis the longitudinal and cross-section of the most common arrangement of the stator body and below the same the new structure of the stator core is identified while maintaining the same dimensions of the structural parts (stator housing S and shields S ').
The radial dimensions of the stator coil heads K result in a certain, fairly large height H of the stator yoke. This or the resulting yoke cross-section is in all cases significantly larger than is necessary from a magnetic point of view, which means that it is a waste of material.
In order to avoid this and to make the cross-section only as small as the magnetic saturation conditions allow, without losing the structural advantage of the large radial sheet height of the stator yoke, the individual disks are not cut round from square sheet metal with the side length a, b . but from much smaller ones of side length a '. b ', whereby it only has to be taken into account that at the points x there remains a sheet width permissible from the mechanical and structural dimensions. Accordingly, only the owls were cut short and round.
According to practical experience, the dimensions of these new boards are around 250/0 smaller, which is equivalent to around 45% savings in raw material.
These sheet metal disks are now put together in such a way that they are offset from one another by a single or multiple of the groove pitch, such as B. a ', b' versus a ", b".
The smallest cross-section resulting from this theoretically maximum is about half that which results from sheet metal that is cut completely round on the outside and is sufficient in almost all cases for the passage of the force fluid. In Fig. 1 below is the resulting smallest cross section through the line m. m or the height h.
Due to the resulting division of the outer circumference of the laminated core and the resulting channels! If the gaps L are made in the stator flanges, thorough cooling of the stator body can be achieved as a result of the large fissured surface of the stator back.
